The Saturday of 4th of July weekend, I spent a delightful evening with the Schmidgall family. It was a sticky, overcast day, and we even had a few drops of rain from time to time, but thankfully the rain held off and we were able to capture the whole family together!
I arrived at their home as they were finishing up supper, and from there we grabbed shots of each family. With a full evening session, there was no rush at all; everyone was able to get changed on location too being we were at home. Fun side note: this house has been in the Schmidgall family since it was built! What an amazing piece of family history.
After some formal shots for the wall, we moved on to those fun shots for the scrapbook! I’m going to state right here and now that working with Schmidgalls was an absolute breeze – they were relaxed, kind, funny, and had all sorts of fun family things planned for the evening. They made my job easy and delightful!
S’mores, pool splashing, water balloons, lawn games, and some silly Snapchat filters all made an appearance throughout the night. But enough talk, more pictures! 🙂
